Before Red Light Sleep existed, it was simply a family trying to figure out bedtime.
Like many parents of sensory-sensitive children, Marissa Molina and her husband, Arbonne, noticed that their son seemed to relax most when his bedtime routine was predictable and low stimulation.
At first they tried finding videos that already existed, but they were bright lights or over stimulating. They did research and found deep red lighting, gentle visuals, familiar characters, and steady white noise helped create an environment where children could unwind and settle more peacefully.
That experience inspired the creation of Red Light Sleep, a growing collection of cozy sleep videos designed to support calming bedtime routines for children and families. From sleepy dinosaurs and woodland animals to soothing red environments and continuous white noise, each video is intentionally created to provide a peaceful, low-stimulation experience.
Every child is different, and what works for one family may not work for another. But sharing ideas that brought comfort to one home may help another family discover routines that feel supportive, calming, and restorative.
Sometimes, meaningful ideas begin simply by trying to help one child feel safe, rested, and understood.
Marissa Molina is creator of Red Light Sleep, the founder of Imagination Reality and Imagination Starz, a children's author, and a mother dedicated supporting families through imagination, wellness, and meaningful routines.
